I originated the idea for a number of complex algorithms that could automatically balance poorly lit or incorrectly colour balanced video material targeting news gathering, documentary, restoration, events videography etc.
Worked with a co-founder and experienced developer, and then ran first formal beta of product with Sky News in 2021 and they purchased 11 licenses to use in their close to air edit suites, renewing their licenses year on year. Software is also in the B2C marketplace.

I have been working as a mentor to business leaders in the creative space via the Help to Grow scheme, a government backed organisation connecting experienced mentors with business leaders.
Usually spread over 10x1hr sessions, I start with understanding the journey of the business leader, and ask about their main challenges.
We look at a 2 year Vision exercise, where the mentee writes down their ideal day. The organisational structure of the business, winning new work, managing challenging employees, sharpening job descriptions and looking at goal setting and KPIs/OKRs. How to put in bonus schemes and manage senior managers. Also, how to find the right work/life balance and being successful at delegation.
As a mentor and business coach my role is to act with only my mentee's interests in mind, mentors and coaches are unique at this as unlike friends, family or colleagues, we do not have an agenda other than the sucesss of our mentees,
